Play trivia with friends online: who buzzes first?
Want to play a quiz with friends, but you are not in the same room? Buzzer Rush is a live trivia game where everyone sees the same question at the same time. Whoever hits the buzzer first gets to answer. Being fast is good, but only if your answer is right.
How to start a quiz with friends
- Open buzzerrush.eu on your phone or computer and choose Private lobby.
- Share the link or the five-character code, for example in your group chat.
- Your friends open the link and join your lobby straight away. No app to install and no account to create.
- Is everyone in? Then you, as the host, start the match. With fewer than five people, bots can fill the empty seats.
Why it works as a party game
You stand on a ladder: a right answer moves you up one place, a wrong answer moves you down. After every round, whoever is at the bottom is out, until two players are left for the final. That keeps it exciting until the last second, even if you fall behind for a while.
A match takes about ten minutes, with more than 1,000 questions in 15 categories: from geography and history to film, music and sport. After that you can start a new one straight away, with different questions.
Frequently asked questions
How many friends can play?
Up to five players per match, including you. With a bigger group, play in several lobbies or take turns.
Does it work if we are in the same room?
Yes. Everyone plays on their own phone. The game measures who pressed first, so nobody has to shout.
Does it cost anything?
No. Buzzer Rush is free and has no ads.
